# How to Fix Chrome Audio Issues on Mac with Multi-Channel Audio Interfaces

If you're experiencing audio playback issues in Google Chrome while using a multi-channel audio interface on your Mac, you may need to adjust your audio output settings.

Follow these steps to create a Multi-Output Device using Audio MIDI Setup:

##### Open Audio MIDI Setup

1. Open Audio MIDI Setup on your Mac. You can find it using Spotlight Search or by going to Applications > Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup.
2. Click the + button in the bottom-left corner.
3. Select Create Multi-Output Device.

##### Configure Your Audio Output

1. In the list of available audio devices, check the box next to your primary audio interface.
2. If needed, configure your audio interface to use a standard 2-channel stereo output.

##### Update Your Mac's Sound Settings

1. Open System Settings > Sound.
2. Under Output, select the newly created Multi-Output Device.
3. Open Google Chrome and test your audio playback.

Your Mac should now route audio through the selected device.

**Note:** If you're still experiencing playback issues, check your audio interface settings to make sure the correct output channels are selected.
